class=\"wb-stl-normal\">La conferencia reconstruye una historia \"olvidada\" del psicoan\u00e1lisis: el proyecto que Freud lanz\u00f3 en 1918, en plena crisis de la Primera Guerra Mundial, para crear una \"psicoterapia para las masas\" mediante cl\u00ednicas psicoanal\u00edticas gratuitas e institutos de formaci\u00f3n asociados, empezando por la Policl\u00ednica de Berl\u00edn (1920) y el Ambulatorio de Viena (1922), y extendi\u00e9ndose despu\u00e9s a Budapest, Londres, Mosc\u00fa, Frankfurt, Chicago y otras ciudades, cada una con su propio modelo y sus propias tensiones entre atenci\u00f3n cl\u00ednica y formaci\u00f3n de analistas. Montejo muestra c\u00f3mo, tras la muerte o el exilio de sus principales impulsores (Abraham, Ferenczi, Reich) y el avance del fascismo, nazismo y estalinismo en los a\u00f1os 30, este proyecto de compromiso social fue desmantelado y sustituido en 1936 por el nuevo programa de Ernest Jones \u2014centrado en la neutralidad pol\u00edtica, la profesionalizaci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica y la selecci\u00f3n restrictiva de candidatos\u2014, que Montejo interpreta como una \"desmentida\" traum\u00e1tica: el borrado casi total de esta etapa de la historiograf\u00eda oficial del psicoan\u00e1lisis (incluida la propia web de la IPA). La charla concluye vinculando ese olvido hist\u00f3rico con el actual aislamiento social del psicoan\u00e1lisis y con el silencio institucional de algunas asociaciones psicoanal\u00edticas ante conflictos contempor\u00e1neos como Gaza, defendiendo que solo un psicoan\u00e1lisis dispuesto a comprometerse (el \"cobre\" junto al \"oro puro\" de la t\u00e9cnica, en palabras de Freud) puede recuperar la vitalidad y la relevancia social que tuvo en el periodo de entreguerras.
